WELCOME BACK
Welcome
to Y Graig (Class 3, Year Reception/Year 1). The children have all settled in
well and are becoming familiar with the new rules and routine of their new
class. We have a very busy term ahead of us and we hope this information will
help you start off the new academic year with ease. The Staff are Mrs James
(Teacher), Mrs Bull (Teaching Assistant) and Miss Haines (Learning Support
Assistant).
Please visit our Y Graig blog
page regularly for up to date information, photographs and games that will
reinforce the learning that has taken place in class.
Can
I also ask that if your child has birthday invitations to give out, and if there
are not enough for each member of the class, that these are given out by
parents in the yard discreetly. This avoids disappointment for those who are
not invited to the party. If you need to speak to me about any issues please
ring and leave a message with the secretary, I will then ring you back.
Mrs
James, Mrs Bull and Miss Haines.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US
HELP YOUR CHILD
·
Homework
bags and reading diaries need to be brought in every day.
·
Please
do not bring in a large bag. We have no room for it. If your child has packed
lunch please bring it in a lunch box/bag.
·
Ensure
PE kit is brought in for Tuesday and Thursday (kit kept in school is better for
us)
·
Please
listen to your child read for 5 minutes every day, sign their diary and they
get a smiley tab to go into the smiley box.
·
Wellington
boots are needed for our Forest School activities. Please provide pair which is
clearly labelled with your child’s name that can be kept in school.
PE- Tuesday &
Thursday
White
T-shirts and plain navy shorts/joggers and trainers or daps- All labelled. Long
hair must be tied back and watches and earrings other
than studs removed, or for ease, not worn on these days.
