On Thursday the 6th of March we will be celebrating World Book Day.  This year the School Council have decided that the following fun activities will take place at our school:

* Children dress up as their favourite character from a book 

* Teachers to come dressed as a character chosen by the children

* Foundation Phase will take part in a Book Hunt organised by School Council

* A Book Quiz will be held for the KS 2 children

* Please bring to school any unwanted books for a Book Raffle.  The children will pay 10p for a raffle ticket to win a book.

Get your thinking caps on and reading lots of books. I'm looking forward to it already!

Dear parents

We have asked the children to think of a really unusual place to read a book. The children have thought of some really funny examples of where they could be when reading. Please could you take a photograph of your child reading a book in an unusual place. We will use the photographs as part of our school library display
