Dear Parents
The photographer will be in school on Thursday to take photographs of the children in their Saint David'd Day costumes. These will be published in the Llantrisant Observer during the week of Saint David's Day.

Home task this week is based on the 'number bond' work we have been learning in class. The tasks have been differentiated into three levels of challenge. Homework is due back on Monday 17th.


We have been learning all about question words and question marks in our language lesson and all this week's activities will be based on the book 'Snow Friends'. The children will be re telling the  part of the story that has questions. We will be learning to choose the correct question word to start our sentences and ensuring that we use a question mark to end.

We have lots of Saint David's day activities planned for next week and children will be taking part in competitions to win points for their house colour.

We have a professional story teller coming into school on Tuesday and she is going to bring some of the traditional stories of Wales to life for the children. we will use these as the inspiration for our writing tasks.
